During this time of year, I become a little obsessed about organizing and cleaning. I feel like a lot of it has to do with holiday decorating. OMG, I just cannot stand the idea of decor going on top of dust! Why I never! I sound like a crazy person.
My mom was a major clean freak so as a natural reaction to her cleanliness, I of course kept my room as messy as possible. Every Saturday we would clean the entire house. My jobs included dusting, cleaning the bathrooms (which I hated/hate), and vacuuming. I would usually do these chores while imagining that Princess Diana was coming to visit. Anywho, the point I am getting to is that I have become my mother, as we all tend to do and myself have become a clean freak. I got a new vacuum yesterday and I couldn’t be more excited. It’s sad.
